Reneé King has had an interest in art for as long as she can remember. Her first recollections as a child growing up in Philadelphia, PA was that she received a lot of encouragement from both her parents and grandmother to pursue a career in art. Even as a young girl she won several awards at various art shows and contests including a certificate from the governor of Pennsylvania for recognition of her talent.

King went on to study at Tyler School of Fine Art with a scholarship given for her artistic talent. While in college she had the opportunity to work with a variety of mediums. Her paintings and sculptures were displayed in several exhibitions.

As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps she served her country as a Graphic Artist and painted murals in Quantico, Virginia. At the Training and Audiovisual Support Center she meticulously worked with screen printing, portraits with bios, cartoons, and cartography. She completed a multitude of projects where her skills with graphic design and her artistic talent was able to shine through in her works. As a token of appreciation for her outstanding dedication and performance, King received a Letter of Appreciation from the Commandant of the Marine Corps.

Reneé King, is an Oil, Acrylic, and Mixed-Media artist creating original paintings in oils, acrylics, and now uses a mixed-media approach to her latest works of art. She now spends her time in-studio working with watercolor pencils, oil and acrylic paints and mixed-media artworks. Renee' King creates original paintings in oils and acrylics and custom art by commission.
